| You may have read about some Veterans Organizations that use fund-raising companies that only provide as little as 10% of the collections that they make. Wisconsin We Care sends 100% of all the product received to our servicemen and women, unless it is to large or is restricted from being sent (liquor, other liquid items. Those non-liquor items are sent to non-profit food pantries, etc. There are no paid executives or volunteers. It's a grass-roots organization. Jeff Bukowski and/or his volunteers donate the snacks that are provided when the volunteers assemble and prepare the packages for shipment. The cost of this website is also donated. |
| Disclaimer: Wisconsin We Care partners with the Veterans Day Parade of Milwaukee to support our troops and honor our veterans. Wisconsin We Care collects product donations as well as cash donations for postage. We do not take or ship sealed packages from other groups. Our packages are packed and inspected by our volunteers. Our mailing list is proprietary, and as such, is never given or sold to others.
